How do I split a column based on a character limit?

The best way to split a column based on a character limit is to use a Custom transform step.

Steps:

1. Drag a Custom transform step onto the canvas.

2. Connect the desired data to this step.

3. Open the Custom transform step, and in the instructions box, write “Split the [x] column into two columns, separating it after the first [y] characters”

4. Click Update results
